For our outer wall insulation, whether a new building, an old building or a building under historical preservation, we exclusively use regenerative raw materials.
The Hiss-Reed Board WLG055 is manufactured from a sturdy handpicked reed with diameters of 30, 60, 80 and 120mm.
With a bulk density of about 155 kg/m3, this material is particularly suitable for roofing insulation and furthermore offers excellent thermal insulation during the summer.
Insulation using reeds are placed in a open diffusion method during construction, this means that the complete surface can then be coated in clay.
A pure lime plaster is used and is multi-layer brushed on in a fresco (wet in wet) manner with a marble-sump-lime.
